Meetings will include worship that is meaningful for youth, Bible study, time for recreation, planning for community outreach and mission opportunities and of course—a lot of fun! Bring your favorite board games! All junior and senior high school youth of the church and their friends are invited!
Checkout the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall with the crazy border and you will see some of the activities coming up.

Update June 2010
LPPC sends two students to Triennium this Summer 2010!: James M. and Titus O. will represent LPPC at the Youth Triennium at Purdue University the end of July. This is an extraordinary opportunity for Presbyterian youth to come together with over 6000 others, to worship, to study and to have a lot of fun together. The Presbytery of Santa Fe is sending over 40 young people to this event and Titus and James are already making new friends in the preliminary Presbytery events. We send our love and blessing with James and Titus as they attend.
Update on Baby Kits and Health Kits sent to Church World Service: our youth gathered on Sunday afternoon, May 16th to pack up all the donations we had collected for Church World Service. We put together 10 full baby kits and 20 health kits that Church World Service will distribute in disaster areas around the world. Thanks to all who contributed to this project - we couldn't have done it without you!
Congratuations to our 2010 Graduates!
On May 23rd, we will recognize our teachers and students at a special Pentecost Worship Service. Please join us in congratulating and honoring our 2010 Graduates this year:
High School: Zach Martin, Jack Davis, and Elijah Torres
College: Jodilynn Ortiz and Ben Brishcar
Way to go! We are so proud of you!

Lock-in Spring 2010:
Our senior highs had a great time at the lock-in with Pastor Elizabeth last weekend (March 26). They planned youth Sunday worship, talked about their service project, sorted Sees Candy orders, ate a lot of food and stayed up really late. It was a good experience for everyone. The Senior High Youth will be collecting materials for the baby care and health care kits for Church World Service until the end of April.
Thanks to Dana H. and Jody W. for putting up an LPPC Facebook page!
Spring 2010 Sees Candy Sales a SUCCESS! Thank you to everyone who helped support our Spring Sees Candy Fundraising Drive! We hope you enjoy the Sees Easter candy and we appreciate your support to our mission projects!
Corn Maze in October 2009
Thanks to all who joined the Youth and their families at the Skinner's place in Corrales October 25th. We had some beautiful fall weather to walk to the Wagner Farms Corn Maze and get lost in the maze of corn rows, ride the hayrides, find some great looking pumpkins, and then enjoy some great pizza socializing back at their house.
Thanks to all the Skinner's for hosting and can't wait to do it again next year!
Our Youth Takes on Ghost Ranch Retreat in Northern New Mexico!
Our LPPC youth members spent the first weekend in March this
year at the Santa Fe Presbytery Annual Senior High Retreat at Ghost
Ranch. Our kids met young people from all over northern New
Mexico, sharing in study, worship, outdoor adventure and faith building.
Then they came back and lead the worship service on Sunday to teach us
all what they had learned. What a performance!
Thank you to everyone who helped donate to send our fantastic youth on this trip!
Recycle and help the Youth
LPPC continues its green efforts to help protect our environment by
recycling CELL PHONES and INK JET CARTRIDGES. All proceeds go to our
youth group for church-sponsored events and activities—thanks to Phone
raiser, an innovative fund-raising recycler.
Please place your used cell phones and ink jet cartridges in the box located in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Vicki D. through the church office at 867-5718 with any questions or go to the Phone raiser website.
