Mission/Description: The LPPC Tech Team is an inter-generational collaboration between (at least six, currently)

church members with complementary technical expertise to support one another and the church through the design/installation, operation, and maintenance of the AV and IT equipment.  Through the pandemic and beyond, we have come to recognize and rely upon technology as an integrated part of how we serve our community (including supporting the service, connecting worshipers through Zoom, and regular event support such as sound reinforcement during regular concerts that are a part of the Placitas Artist Series hosted monthly in the Sanctuary).  Reflecting on this growth and renewed purpose, the Tech Team recently shifted its identity as an assumed part of building maintenance into a more active role within the Worship Committee.  Our strengths include a preference for simple and tasteful minimalism, a team made up of people with extraordinary qualifications and competencies, and a resilient approach to

coordinating and responding to the various needs of our community.

Activities and Accomplishments:

• Design/install, operate, and maintain the AV and IT equipment
• Support Sunday worship services
• Connect worshipers through Zoom
• Support regular events held in the church (such as PSA concerts, WSPR poetry readings, special Lenten and Christmas services)
