One of the most cherished community traditions is the Placitas Fourth of July parade. The parade, which goes along 165 and through the Village, features fire trucks, fun floats from local organizations, kids on decorated bicycles, horses and riders, classic cars, and many more parade spectacles—all throwing candy to spectators lining the

parade route. LPPC adds to the festivity with lemonade, baked good, popcorn, and other treats. We even have two bouncy houses set up for the children to enjoy. It’s truly a fun, festive celebration.
