Mission/Description: This committee helps to plan and facilitate worship services along with the Pastor and Music

Director. We work behind the scenes to make sure the service is equipped with readers, ushers, liturgists, acolytes—all those volunteers who make our services run smoothly—and to make sure the appropriate liturgical colors are displayed. These are joyous tasks in the service of the church as we celebrate God’s grace in our lives through worship.

Activities and Accomplishments:

• Scheduling and notifying liturgists, Spanish liturgists, ushers, and the Tech Team members;
• Overseeing acolytes;
• Making sure the correct liturgical colors are displayed each Sunday;
• Keeping oil in the communion table candles filled;
• Arranging for ushers and readers for special services (such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, or Election Night communion service);
• Providing palm fronds for Palm Sunday, Easter lilies for Easter, and Poinsettias for Christmas;
• Decorating the chancel and sanctuary nichos for Christmas;
• Arranging for a pulpit supply pastor when necessary
